Firefly Solar Presents Ongoing Local Community Grants

Children in School Bus

In an effort to support local organizations, The Firefly Solar Project has committed itself to community outreach through helping local organizations with quarterly grants distributed to worthy causes. Vesper Energy aims to benefit the local community, including an estimated 200 jobs created during construction, as well as a new stream of passive, stable income after completion of the project, to benefit the local economy. Tax revenue will also become an annual source of revenue to generate a meaningful impact on students and the community.
The past winners of our quarterly grants include the below local organizations:

"We are grateful and excited to have Vesper Energy, through the Firefly Solar Community Grant, partner with us for the solar portion of our new multi-million-dollar dining hall that we are building here at Pine Valley Camp! Having solar on this new structure will benefit the entire camp by providing a clean and less expensive energy source over many years to come. The money that we save through solar can then be used for our camp and discipleship programs which benefit the youth and young teens that we serve."

“This grant will directly support our educational performance of The Nutcracker which we present to area school-aged children each year.”

“Thank you to Firefly Solar for helping us continue to keep our promise of growing youth development, promoting healthy living, and upholding our social responsibilities. People like you help our community thrive; we are always stronger together.”

-Lawrence County YMCA

"We are deeply grateful and honored to be selected for this quarter's grant. These funds will provide much-needed support to our veterans who find themselves homeless or struggling to secure stable housing due to the challenges of mental health diagnoses. This grand and others like it will help make a real difference in their lives, giving them the helping hand they truly deserve."
